Full aluminum frame
The Caractère collection gets its strength from the frame. All parts of the frame are made of aluminum, such as the interior and the opening system.

Sunbrella® PLUS Marine
All fabrics for the Caractère outdoor parasol covers are made from solution-dyed acrylic yarns from the Sunbrella® PLUS Marine collection.
Performance
The yarns are made of solution dyed acrylic. This means that the color of the fabric continues all the way into the yarn. The color is added to the liquid solution in which the yarn is extruded. Only solution-dyed fabrics retain their color and resist fading due to exposure to UV rays when exposed to the sun.
Stain-resistant and waterproof
All fabrics have a surface finish that makes the fabric water and stain repellent. A coating on the back makes the fabric waterproof, mildew resistant and keeps drying time to a minimum.
Steel base
All bases from the Caractère collection are designed and made in Belgium. They are made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets with a thickness of 15 mm. The base has four elegant wheels that can rotate 360°, each with a brake to keep the umbrella in place. The wheels are already mounted on the base.
